The Art of the Pen
Here to give advice for writers, budding and seasoned.
About This Page
This is my class project. I created this page in order to give advice to all authors about the art of the pen. Writing is without a doubt one of (if not the) hardest of the arts to master. You need to create a story, realistic characters, events that capture interest, locations that captivate the imagination, all while keeping consistent pace. In this site, I plan to give all of the best advice from the best sources in order to make a great blog for any author. And not just some bland "Show, don't tell," or "Just keep writing." No! Bad! I'm here to bring you the best advice from my own (lack of) experience, and other much more seasoned writers.
Into the Rabbit Hole
In this site, I have many blogs, all of which relating to crucial elements of a good story.
Here are the following blog currently active:
Here are the following blog currently active:
- Updates and Blogging: Here you will find a simple blog on the status of the site as a whole as well as personal updates.
- Story: Learn how to properly manage a story and it's many elements.
- Characters: Here, you can learn how to use character tropes accurately and efficiently. Keep in mind that a good character needs to have a lot of questions asked (and answered) about their behavior and reactions to stimuli.
- Sources: No ones' opinion is purely their own, that's a given. It's also a given that whenever a post is made. you can expect that an external source was cited to make it happen. This tab can be used to track down all of the external sources I've cited.
Remember, anyone can write a book, but it takes an expert to put all the right things in all the right places.
